Our Story
Brown Taekwondo (BTKD) is one of the largest and most active student groups at Brown University with over 100 registered members. Founded more than 40 years ago, we have excelled in regional and national competitions, securing five national titles and consistently placing in the top three at Collegiate Nationals over the past two decades.

We are a student-run, student-serving club that offers comprehensive martial arts training in a supportive team environment and provides opportunities to compete at the collegiate level. We welcome people of all backgrounds and experience levels to join us! We practice the World Taekwondo (WT) form of Taekwondo, and have highly trained and experienced instructors who are always ready to help out.

We compete in both Eastern Collegiate (ECTC) and National Collegiate (NCTA) championships.
